You bought a really nice bike that should last for a long time that is virtually brand new for less than you would have paid with had it not been simply taken for a test ride.
A better question is, "How am I going to get my car back in the garage?"
Thanks to the center stand my bike is gracious enough to allow my car to share its' space.

Best thing to do between now and when you pick it up is shop for a new helmet and jacket to keep the gremlins at bay.

A car, AND. a motorbike inside the garage, and at the same time you say? what a quaint idea!

When we bought our house, new build; I think that I could have got the car into the empty garage - i'm also pretty certain that having got it in, I would not have been able to open the door to get out of the car.

Have you any idea how much DIY I had to do to put up shelving, wall hooks, canoe racks etc, just to see enough of the floor to hope to get a bike in?

Good positive way of looking at things, though, thank you - you are clearly a 'glass half full person' as opposed to a 'which one of you b######s pinched my beer' person.

As regards the jacket and helmet - you are clearly clairvoyant - my Fox Creek, beautiful as it is, is clearly not adapted for global warming, (the dealer's summer jackets were flying off the shelves today), and my open face helmet and sunglasses, bought in anticipation that I would go for a cruiser, are not going to be up to the job for the CB.

60mph had tears streaming down my face, and no, not because of the standard of my riding.
