Not running down the bike...I want one but dont see the value. Just being honest.
Well, whatever bike you think is too expensive, not just the CB, there's always a lightly used current model year example available somewhere for around 30% less. My standard was 7K even, had 500 miles on it and was still under warranty. I bought my last three bikes this way. Two of them only had 500 -600 miles on them, and the BMW had 9,000 but still had the bulk of the 36 month warranty.
Let someone else pay top dollar and take the depreciation hit.
And the previous owner found out about any minor issues and had them taken care of under warranty, so less inconvenience for you also.
And the 45-70 yr old demographic is probably the largest population segment there is, and they usually are the ones with money to spend.
