Obviously, the '13s are a bit cheaper, but I think that good deals can be had on either year. I got a leftover '13 mostly because I liked the lower weight (these bikes are a bit top heavy - not really noticeable except at lower speeds, but that was a concern for me) and the few niggling details that bothered me cosmetically compared to the '14 were easily remedied with aftermarket parts. Maybe the 6-speed would be nicer, but with the kind of riding I do, it really wasn't a problem for me.
With either bike you're getting a beautifully crafted machine that looks as good as it runs. You can't lose either way, IMO!
