I purchased a 2013 CB1100D on May 2, 2013. The bike, dealer prep came to $9,813.00, Illinois sales tax $686.91, Illinois title license $136.00. Total out the door was $10,235.91
Initially I was going to hold off until last Fall thinking I could get a better deal, but my dealer had already sold three bikes and said he was only allocated one more for that year. I didn't know if it would be available as a 2014 or if it might be a different color I didn't like. So I bit the bullet and have no regrets, I didn't buy the bike as an investment, I bought it for its looks and ridding experience. Looking back I like the all silver engine on the US DLX 2014 model but not enough to lose thousands by upgrading to a 2014.
