Most everyone there rides bicycles or takes public transportation. There were bicycles everywhere.
I also found out that to register a motor vehicle in Denmark, you must pay ~170% of the purchase price. I would be riding a bicycle too!
It is interesting how many people women and men ride motorcycles or scooters especially Vespas in Paris. I would sit in a cafe with my wife and just watch all of the bikes go by. So cool. I think she accepted it as that was the way it was going to be! If I was sitting in Chicago and watching cars and motorcycles with her at lunch and not paying better attention to her I would be in big trouble. I think she gave me get one out of jail free card with the trip to Paris.
