OK, no worries mate. My sincere apologies if I have caused offence.
I have fitted a Staintune. Not because I wanted the noise but because I wrote off the OEM in a lowside. But that's another story. Staintune doesn't cater for the IEV so the actuating cable needs to be removed. Great sound but tends to pop on decelleration. The best solution to this is to do a PAIR valve mod. Much better. As far as performance is concerned it doesn't NEED remap(PCV), or flashing. However some on the forum have done done so to enhance performance and remove both speed and rev limiters. There are many posts, and threads,on this subject on the forum. CIP57, Ridem32 and others are the Gurus of Grunt. Refer to their posts and threads. Probably a good idea to have a careful read of these before too much discussion on this thread. You know, preparation leads to informed discussion. My own view, for what it's worth, is that I am happy with the CBs stock performance. And I have ridden bikes with a lot of horses so that is not an issue. I just like the CB for what it is. If I want more thrills I will get EBR to re-engine it for me
. Now that would be a WILD CHILD.
Cheers
