Django, there's a technical but useful [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_identification_number]article in Wikipedia which should help you decode your VIN.
You could also try [url=http://www.vin-decoder.net/]this site, although it told me nothing about my VIN.
There was a long discussion about VINs on the forum [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?pid=57309]here when two members thought they had the same VIN.
Yours should start off with JH2SC65 which will tell you it was manufactured in Japan and is a Honda CB1100. The 10th digit should be 'D' to tell you it was manufactured in 2013.
