Anyway, you'll enjoy your new CB. It doesn't have the character of a Guzzi but it does have a certain jewel-like quality and precision that eludes the Italian marque.

Re my 2008 Guzzi 1200 Sport. She's not a lightweight, weighs in at approx. 530-540 pounds. Guzzi didn't bring the later 4 valve per cylinder bike over to the USA, and probably just as well, since they had tappet/camshaft issues. OTOH, my 'old' pushrod 1200 Sport is Guzzi to the core, sounds like a small V8. Doesn't have the grunt of the 8 valve engine, but doesn't have valve actuation issues, either.
This may have been a bike they got right!
Cannot wait to take delivery of my CB1100!
