See this thread and particularly post 14 about front suspension .. I photo'd all the rings and suspension and each one showed a similar increase or decrease in travel depending on which way you were adjusting.

The problem with setting up suspension of a stock bike are it's limitations with suspension adjustment. You may not be able to set up a bike with proper sag as the experts want. Then again I'm not sure the suspension gurus are not setting up bikes for racetracks which require stiff suspension and not for pleasure riding which might require softer suspension depending on how you ride.

and now that I think about it there are 5 rings on the front forks. I may have said 4 before because that's where I run mine lol. I always tell people to find a particular road they ride a lot. Set the suspension full stiff and ride the road. Too stiff? come back and set the suspension full soft. Go ride the road. Too soft? Start adjusting stiffer until you find it the best you can riding the road each time you make an adjustment.
