Honda recommends a first service, basically an oil and filter change, check chain tension, fasteners, at 600 miles. This need not be done at a dealer but you must have a record of service done for warranty reasons.

Suspension settings are a personal thing and everyone has their own opinion on what works for them. I'm at about 195 with gear on and I have my settings a bit firmer.
