I've just ordered the 2014 cb1100ex (dlx) and I am glad, I did it. The only thing I would miss would be the stainless spokes, that I badly wish for the "old" CB. With the new 2017 EX the 2014 EX gets an even more elegant and clean touch, the new tank is very differ, but I like the straight design of the 2014 much more.
Although I like the new RS model very much, it looks much more sporty, bullish, the color of the new suspensions just destroys the design. I love the "anti-retro" style of the 2014 EX, which I think is not really retro but more like an classic evolution, and while I would but the RS if I am want something sporty, I'd rather prefer the 2014 style. But it's good they are continuing the line. I don't need anti-hopping, maybe they changed something at the engine.
