I have a 36" inseam, so as is the bike does get a bit tight on long rides. I picked up the Buell lowered pegs from a fellow inmate here and they are the bees knees. Still on the todo list; a LAMM Custom seat. With the lowered pegs I have lost some urgency in getting the seat done though. Since the stock seat is good for about an hour for my bum the custom shape will be nice. The extra height is not as critical now. Once the new seat is in I "may" go back to the stock pegs as I like the larger rubber covered sized pegs.
At this point I don't see a need for bar extentions (I have a windscreen too, mid sized NC that takes a lot of wind off the chest - critical for long rides on the freeway with the newer higher speed limits. Not needed at 55-65.
I noticed the buzz too, at first, now it does not seem to be all that noticeable. I give credit to a bike breaking in and me getting used to it. In any event, unless you are sensitive to vibrations (and some folks are) I don't think this will be a long term problem for you.
