Re: gloves...seams on the palm bother me the most. I've found [url=http://leeparksdesign.com/deersports/]Lee Parks Deersports to be the most comfortable with the best tactile feel on the controls. There is some stitching on the lower palms for the abrasion pad, but it doesn't create a rub zone unless you apply a death grip.
Re: seat...I have an aftermarket seat on both my bikes. I am more comfortable with a firmer foam that doesn't over-compress while riding.
Re: physical comfort in general. I always take a NSAID before and after a long ride. Seems to help ward off aches and pains.
