Regarding the 2014 Moto Guzzi V7 they're probably blowing out the old inventory since there is a revised 2016 V7 II with tweaks like a 6-speed, ABS, etc.
MG also has $1,000 Customer Cash in play for 2015 and older models.
You had a Sportster before (me too), some call the V7 the Italian Sportster. Relatively simple bike, you can do your own maintenance, etc.
Go for it on either bike!
