Limited tyre choices for your V7R. Those Sport Demons are good but I agree they don't wear well. You may find the Michelin Pilot Activ to be a worthy alternative. The other fitment, Metzeler Lasertec, gives decent wear but doesn't handle as well as the Pirellis and tends to track rain grooves.
