For those of you wanting to defeat the speed limiter...

From Wiki: "Most Japanese domestic market vehicles are limited to only 180 kilometres per hour (112 mph) or 190 kilometres per hour (118 mph)."

This is statutory and is why it is on our bikes. Doesn't have to be in the US, but it is. Can be easily removed with an ECU reflash.
