Start up idle / procedure?
#1
All I have done so far is start it. I know doesn't seem right-weather and work not conducive. I only let it run for a minute or so. It was running at 1500rpm. Like a sewing machine! .

I think I read in the idle thread that the bike idles at 1500rpm till it gets warm and then settles back down to the 1000 +- 100.

Am I right?

So what is the recommended procedure? Start and go? Start and let it warm up then go? I'm so used to choke/warm it up / then go.

when does the idle go back down to 1000 rpm usually?

I will get out on this thing Sat. no work and no rain. Yay!

thanks,
El D
