Our Mustang with the 2.3L turbocharged 4 cyl eco boost engine is the highest gas mileage car we own lol, better than my Ridgeline or my wife's daily driver a Toyota Highlander. Our son's father-in-law has the 5 liter and it gets good (relatively speaking) gas mileage as well, better than his wife's Pilot or his Tundra. We chose not to get the 5.0 liter because a) we just tootle around and didn't need it. B) the 2.4L turbo 4 is plenty fast enough for us C) my wife didn't like all the exhaust noise from the 5.0 liter.

The Stang as we bought it was thousands less than the Highlander and just slightly more than my brothers Miata 11 years ago and my Ridgeline 13 years ago.

I agree about the stupid touch screen stuff and lack of knobs
