My CB (2017) is in the shop as I type for new tires and oil change in preparation for a 1100 mile trip.
The local Honda shop done business with 45+ years had trouble finding tires for the CB. The guy who works the tires is knowledgeable, and been a parts guy for 35 years. He looked through all his resources and advised the OEM tire was a Dunlop, and if I wanted stay with it he'd have to go through Honda, as the tires not listed in any of his books. That option would be $$$. He believes Dunlop got the contract from Honda to special make the tire for the CB, because it doesn't work on anything else.
He advised Metzller made a sport touring tire, correct size, but were designed for tubeless, but would work with a tube.
I went with the Metzllers, I should have the CB back in a day or 2, and I'll give the report on how they're working. The original Dunlops went out after 8k miles.
