Adjusted chain (16,500 miles on the bike). Double checked oil. All good. Dropped the aftermarket adjustable foot-pegs bought off the forum from their highest to their lowest position. WOW!!! I've been riding them since putting them on in the highest, most sporting position and dropping them 3 inches makes the bike feel like a Gold Wing (hyperbole I know). Rode around the hood and what a difference. Really opened up the seating position. Put a magnetic tank bag on, charging the removable powerpack for the iPhone and put on a long RAM arm to clear the tank bag. Dropped 3 32 oz MSR bottles full of ethanol free gas in old tube socks so they don't clank around in the top box and filled the tank to the max on the center stand with same gas. I'll roll out around 7 AM and will post a trip report with pics afterwards in the seat time section. 68 years ago today US Army Medic SSgt David Bleak earned the MOH in Korea. Have tomorrow off from work so figured I'd pay my respects in person.Hey, Frulk, thanks for sharing your preparations. What brand are your adjustable foot pegs? I've been searching for some and haven't found anything that looks good. How much of an adjustment do they require in the shift and rear brake levers?
