What Does It Take To Maintain a CB1100 (Terence O’Keefe)
#3
Thanks rdprdp01, that's actually my video. I enjoyed making that :-). I have a new Honda Oil Filter and Motul Oil ready to go for 2026. All other items in good shape.

I've not done a front fork service on the CB1100EX BV-Prostaff, unless I have a fork problem I probably wouldn't look at it until I hit at least 40,000 km or beyond. Some manufacturers state to change every two years and some change based on mileage. The common two year interval you see from a lot of manufactureres, I believe, is to generate dealer servicing billable hours and well over the top and mostly unwarranted.

Honda generally do not have a fixed mileage or time limit to change the fork oil, at least on the CB1100 anyway. They leave that to the service partner to "inspect" but no mandatory change.
