I've known many people who have crashed ( myself, my lil brother and my mom included) none of them skinned their knuckles. It was always their palms. They don't put armor on the palms. Not saying armor on the knuckles is a bad idea... Probably a good idea, but I wish they'd figure out some way to protect the palms.
