I own a pair of cargo pants from Duluth with the 3% stretch material and really like them. Comfortable to ride in because they stretch when you sit down on the bike. Rode all over the Alps with them on a summer trip. Also bought their t-shirts which hold up well and have pockets. Had to return some shirts and a pair of pants because the fit was weird. Had to pay return postage.
I had my first motorcycle accident in 50 years riding last September (run off the road by a car) and had removed the armor from my jacket because it was uncomfortable. I paid the price with 6 broken ribs, a punctured lung and a big hematoma on my hip. I landed on my right shoulder and hip. I feel strongly that shoulder and back armor may have prevented some of the broken ribs and punctured lung. Three were broken in front and three in back! I am buying a new jacket (Klim Overland) with high quality, more flexible armor and may buy the matching pants. Yes, they are expensive but my helicopter trip to the hospital was $20,000 alone and my ribs and hip still hurt after 6 months. Just a word of advice to my fellow riders watch out for those cars and wear good protective equipment just in case.
