I never had an issue with carbs and the fueling on a good set of carbs is creamy from just off idle all the way thru. That said I have no issues with FI bikes either. A smooth throttle hand and not letting the throttle go back to the stops when shifting makes it nearly as smooth as a well set up carbed bike.
