My McGyver riding buddy tried to design a self-sprayer using a water bottle, a 12V windshield washer pump, some clear plastic tubing, and two spray nozzles. His idea was to mount the nozzles on the handlebars, facing the rider, and with the push of a button, the pump would suck water from the bottle and spray the rider. It'd be really refreshing for the summer conditions out here, but he never made a working model.
This is the same guy who went wide around a curve on his Kawasaki Z1 900 and careened over a cliff (I watched in horror in my rear view mirror), and years later, collided head-on with an oncoming pickup truck while attempting to pass a line of traffic on his Triumph Trophy 1200.
