Good thing he had a tail pack- it appears to have saved him from a spine impact.
I can't say I've never ridden over such a bridge before- but after watching this I never will again.

He was extremely lucky- not only on the actual impact itself- but to have a friend along, and a strap of some sort- although they don't show how the bike was removed.
I think the lull around the 3 minute mark was when he went to take a leak and come back- duly earned.
