Well it's appropriate for us because as motorcyclists we have the least protection and the greatest risk of death or injury. I don't know a single motorcyclist that has not had a close call due to a texting driver. I have had multiple instances where a texting driver has drifted into my lane, or pulled up too close behind me at a traffic light, or busted a red light because they weren't paying attention. It is a real and honest safety issue we need to concern ourselves with.
