Two years ago Sparky and I joined the "Faith Riders". This has been a rewarding experience as this group has a great outreach to the community. Recently Faith Riders put on a mini motorcycle show (mini meaning our small group) at a local assisted living home. It turned out to be a big success. Many residents there are unable to get out and our bike show was an entertaining diversion that brought some "sunshine" into their lives. It was enlightening to hear the stories from some of these elderly folks about the motorcycles they had owned in their youth and the places they had been on two wheels. Brought home to me that I'm getting advanced in years also.
Awesome idea, redbirds! May have to adopt a nearby nursing home with a few buddies and have a mini show-n-tell with our bikes.... You're right, all kinds of recollections to be unearthed in this way!
