OffRoad -- I have the seedling of a plan to have a couple of us trailer our groups' bikes to Vegas. The rest of the group would fly to Las Vegas and then we'd ride from there to Death Valley and then west to the PCH. That's not happening in 2020, but maybe in 2021. Probably in early spring to catch the wildflowers in Death Valley. When is your spring break?
Ferret/OffRoad -- How much time do you think I'd need to take off of work? I think we could do this over a long weekend (maybe with me leaving Chicago on a Thursday and returning by Tuesday). I'd suggest that I meet the two of you someplace near the Illinois/Wisconsin border, but way west of Chicago. No reason for you to fight that traffic.
2020 Motorcycling Goals
1. Continue my streak of riding at least once every month (started in March, 2014)
2. Attend the Eastern CB1100 Rally
3. Ride 180 days in 2020 (an average of every other day is pretty ambitious for a working stiff)
4. Ride at least 13,000 miles
5. Ride with Ferret
6. Visit at least 10 Tour of Honor sites
7. Complete my second Saddle Sore 1000 (or other Iron Butt ride)
