Had "the talk" again with my wife

Scooter might be a good way to go. I'm sure we could rent her one near the beach around here someplace. One of the other reasons I think she is aiming toward an actual motorcycle is her Mom's neighbors. They are a couple about our age, and they both ride. He has a VTX 1300, she has a Rebel. They are in inland San Diego county, so they have lots of nice places to ride that aren't too traficky. When we're visiting Mom, my wife sees the neighbors coming and going on their bikes. We're visiting this Sunday, and I'm suggesting that if the opportunity arises, that we visit the neighbors and ask if she can sit on the Rebel to see what she thinks about the weight of getting it up off of the side stand, rolling it around a bit, and sitting on it.

We'll see how that goes. I agree that scooters can be fun. I ride a Ruckus at my company's events to get around.
