I wouldn't mid an integrated GPS on the dashboard if it fitted in with the classic look of the bike, but I woudn't change the 2 dials design of the dashboard for a dash that looked like an iPad. Maybe, a "virtual speedo" that looks like an analog gauge for speed, and can show maps and navigation when required would be a nice toy I'd get for the right amount.
I think the LED headlight of the 17 model is very good, and you don't need a bike that looks like an insect to get modern ilumination performance. I would like traction control for some peace of mind (sometimes I find some sand on the road after a storm), but I don't think of it as a necesity.
So, yes: I like modern technology on a "classic-inspired" naked bike, but it doesn't need to run on coal to look classic.
Water cooled? One of the main reasons for me to choose the CB was its modern air-cooled I4!
