Recently, riding buddy Tom and I took my R100GS via U Haul rental trailer to the independent technician's shop for work. Only 50 miles or so from home, but thought the bike might be harmed riding it with what appeared to be either a blown tranny or final drive seal.

Of course, the tow vehicle will need a hitch (goes without saying) and you'll need four ratcheting tie downs.
It's easy to load with two of us, both pushing, one steering.
