I agree wholeheartedly that dirt bike riding enhances street bike riding. I recommend it as great training for street survival skills. I spent 10 years racing motocross, and hare scrambles and a couple enduros.... 30-40 years ago lol ( started racing in 1973) This also included 10 years of high speed get offs and resultant broken bones. A gentle ride on the dirt I could still handle although I might get sore. I would not want to attempt high speed slides, bouncing off berms, jumps, whoop de doos, or bouncing off trees, or wheelie ing over backwards.... Too old and I don't heal like I used to.

But yes riding dirt makes you a better street rider, and riding street makes you a better dirt rider.
