and yes, I'd rather have the curves outside the doorstep than the beach. Truth is I have never enjoyed the beach/ocean. I used to live in Florida, and it was just a few minutes ride to the beach. Pretty to look at, but I have never liked the smell of the ocean, don't like swimming in salt water, don't like blistering hot sand, don't like seaweed and don't like not being able to see down into the water, and the wave tow is just plain weird feeling. Girls do dress a little more provocatively at the beach which is nice, but not all of them should. Same for men.

Guess that's why I love the mountains, and riding into the mountains is always a great experience. My wife would much rather go to the mountains too. She doesn't care for the beach much either.
