I've ridden my VFR800 with my wife on the back multiple 400+ mile days (San Diego to Monterey), and neither of us have any real issues with our butt, but I have a Corbin seat on it. When we do a 200 mile day on the CB1100 we are both complaining about our back sides. I don't think the seat is entirely to blame for a sore butt; I believe that the lack of a fairing is a significant contributor. With all that force from the wind on your chest (I'm talking freeway speeds here), your butt is reacting to a lot of force. This is one reason I haven't purchased a Corbin seat for the CB1100, besides I think the CB1100 Corbin seat is not very attractive.
