Fortunately not, and the left thumb is not very sore even when squeezed. I change the small band aid every day and add a little Polysporin to speed the healing.

The itchy horse fly bites are the real problem. The first one softened after being cleaned with rubbing alcohol and massaged with After Bite. But the remaining three are still lumpy. Ordinarily I wear long pants fishing, but it was so hot I wore shorts. Lesson learned.

I guess I should take back my comment that fishing is safer than motorcycling.
