You can see a white piece on the right side of the carrier in the 2nd and 3rd picture. That's one of 4 wedges fabricated from a 1/2" thick cutting board. One is on either side of each of the rear carrier's "side plates" to square things off.

We just came back from a ride and the wife loved it. But I still got a whack upside the helmet when I grabbed a fist full of throttle. Confused
