Having already high sided my bike i would say all of that is useless. My right front turn signal, Clubman bars, timing cover and muffler held most of it off the road... i wouldn't waste the time on bulking things up on my own bike after seeing it slide down the road at 50mph and just those parts getting scratched up. My bars slammed ham fisted into the tank and dented it, yes. Would "crash" bars helped that? No. 250 bucks, some paint and "love" later she is back to normal. Whatever you put on there it is more form than function.

I don't think anyone here thinks the rubber things are going to save anything including skin, they just look smart
