Yup. I tried this a little over a year ago with the Plexi 3 from my CB750. Nat. Cycle already told me it wasn't recommended, but I wanted to see for myself. Details here :

Bottom line : Not a good fit. The extended lowers hit the front turn signals and no adjustment that I tried could fix that. I ended up getting a Plexi 2 for the CB1100 and I've been quite happy with it. It's roughly the same size as the 3, but without the lowers. Fits great!
