1100 Four and Diamond Emblem Mod

I did install them already however I am not in the country at present and won't be till around Feb. I will ask my buddy where the bike is stored to take a couple pics.
I parked the bike in the FL sun for a bit and took a piece of mono fishing line and "sawed" down behind the old emblems to get them off. Same thing I did with the fork reflectors. Took them off easy. Used "Goof Off" to take the residual glue tape off with no problem. You can also just keep rolling a finger over the residue and it will come off.
What I did run in to is that the side cover is slightly curved while the metal emblems are not. The backing on the red Honda diamonds will adhere satisfactorily to the side covers but I used 3M adhesive double backed foam tape cut to fit (small pieces) to secure the rest of the emblems. You can't really detect any gap between the side cover and emblems and the factory used basically the same thing. So far has worked great and no danger of coming off. I used my fingers and pressed and re pressed them for a day or so after initial installation and I am fully satisfied with the result. The difference in quality between the metal and plastic is noticeable in my opinion but from a few feet away, no one can really tell the difference but the metal makes me happy!
