Looking for HONDA emblem
#1

I've been searching for a plastic peel & stick 3D emblem similiar in size to the "CB1100" emblem that is on our side panels but saying "HONDA" instead. Preferably new.

A search of EBAY shows a lot of tank badges and decals, mostly vintage. OEM parts searches are fairly tedious. It's one thing if you have a part number, but every emblem I've seen is bike specific.

Is anyone aware of a Honda bikes that have 3" to 4" long "Honda" emblems designed for a flat or slightly curved surfaces?

It would go on the back of my sissy bar.

Would it be OK if it's gold?

Honda has a nice one, I had it on my 2002 VTX Retro sissy bar!

CB4ME:
You may have addressed this in another thread - but where did you find the sissy bar and rack? Exactly what I'm looking for but can't seem to locate.
Thanks.
Steve

Randy - that's what I was looking for!

Rick - I'll do a bit more searching, but the emblem Randy shared is nearly perfect.

Steve, Back last summer, a friend of Buffalohead's discovered that the Jardine universal sissy bar mated up well with Honda's OEM rear carrier. I went with the Jardine mini backrest which is bit smaller and lower then the standard Jardine.

I made a pair of mounting plates out of aluminum, Buffahead's buddy used stainless steel. You can use the 10mm bolts and mounting holes included with the backrest to attach the top of the plate and drill a couple holes in the rear carrier to mount the bottom of the plate.

I recently simplified my bottom mounting points to clean up the look.

I put this one on mine: 86101-MGP-D00ZC

I just walked around the Honda showroom until I found one on a bike I liked and had them order it. Some of those stickers are not available by themselves, so you may have to look more.

It is red letters on white, for contrast. It is hard to see red on that chrome by itself IMO. It is 2 7/8" by about 3/8 high.

All the aftermarket ones I found were too big for me.

Your bike looks modified/interesting enough to have a thread listing the modifications and where you got them, how you installed them etc.

Please tell me you'll do this?

I just searched for a goldwing emblem for the trunk and that's what I found.
It's the only one I could think of that would be flat enough for what you want to do.

I used ecrater and ordered 2 of the gold ones - for about 1/3rd less than Partsfish. But then I used Partsfish to order a red one. Big Grin

Tortuga -

Shortly after buying my 2013 and joining this forum, I caught a wicked case of farkle fever. I blame all the forum members who paved the way by doing their bikes.

Most of the accessories are courtesy of Samurider. I can put out details of the mods later this week or next.

Here is a picture of the bike, nearly done after 10 months and close to $8k of doing mods:
