Thinking of doing this myself and trying to follow along with your posts. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think earlier today you ran with the air intake wide open and didn't notice any difference. Then you ordered the full yoshi and MacGyvered your intake.
Is it safe to guess that your existing exhaust has some sort of object stuck in its throat and you're anticipating once that is rectified the snorkel will in fact be a factor?
btw: I emailed Don G today just to say I was seriously considering him and that he was creating quite a stir over here.

When i decided to go with a full exhaust i figured i would do the air intake mod. While i had the air box open i decided to run her with in open air box for a short run just to see how she was breathing.
The airbox mod is to get as much air as possible so fuel can be added. Not sure how much it really helps but don't want to leave anything out before the dyno run. Whats stuck in the exhaust throat is the converter ( lol ) a full exhaust should really help the motor breath.
