Air box mod save $$$ - CIP57_imp - 05-05-2014 I just did my air-box mod using 3M stair strips cut in half and doubled. No need to put any additional support, i can't even pull the damn thing out, going to need pliers when the time comes. Nice clean job with the unit totally sealed. I did not want to use a strainer which would restrict and collect dirt in the future. RE: Air box mod save $$$ - Tortuga_imp - 05-05-2014 Sorry, what is this for? RE: Air box mod save $$$ - Papa Weeley_imp - 05-05-2014 Yes, a little more info for us noobs, please?!

Don't waste your money on a TSR this works great. I bought 2ft off the roll for 79 cents RE: Air box mod save $$$ - The Spaceman_imp - 05-05-2014 6 http://www.samurider.com/?p=1803 This the fancy-schmancy part cip57 replaced. He's created his own high-flow air intake system using only the materials available to the crew on board Apollo 13. I'm thinking of leaving my bike standard to eliminate the risk of liking it less, or making it @~*^er by accident. You are starting to piss me off, you have no idea what the threads about so don't hijack it because of you own stupidity. There are people who will find this useful to save some money. Spaceman made a joke but your post is condescending at best. RE: Air box mod save $$$ - the Ferret - 05-05-2014 Geez full moon tonight? Alright lets take a step back and relax everyone. Cip is just trying to help others who may be considering modding their bikes and reporting on his experiences. If you are not interested in doing this to yours, please refrain from stepping all over his thread. Thank you |
