Thanks for the reply. There is also a very low mileage one in Saskatchewan with 1,800km on it for $12k CAD.
What's the right price for one of these with less than 2,000 km in mint shape? $12k seems high based on what they were brand new, but examples with a lot more mileage are also asking the same price.
Thanks for the replies so far. So, if someone wanted a flat sided tank and mag wheels, a 2016 "standard" might be a good way to go as it gets you the final year? Were there every any models with the 4 into 2 exhaust that also had the flat sided tank and mag wheels or did the 4 into 2 always come with the spoked wheels and curved tank?
Any thoughts on parts availability for these bikes? Has anyone had issues finding parts from Honda dealers? With my Moto Guzzi, local dealer won't even stock all models of air/oil filters and it's months to get them ordered in.
The first iteration of the curved, seamless tank was 2017. Prior to that all tanks were flat sided and seamed. The USA received the DLX in 2014 which had a larger capacity flat-sided tank, a 4 into 2 exhaust system and mag wheels. Honda did not send that model to Canada so, if you want one, you'll likely have to import one from the USA or persuade peterbaron to part with his.
Otherwise, you'll have to buy a 2017 model with spoked wheels and the seamless tank. Should you decide to go that route, you can get a kit to convert the rims t take tubeless tyres.
