The seat Sargent built:
The adjustable footpegs pictured are made by LSL. I have an extra pair of lowering footpegs made by Knight Design:

The pair I have are Silver Anodized with Sidetrax tread and I'd happily sell them at a nice discount to someone on the forum. They fit well on my '13 and they gave considerable knee relief.

Here's my progress on getting the bike to fit me better:

Bought some SP Takegawa pegs. They're adjustable, but only from about 9-6 o'clock when viewed from the side. I was hoping I could drill a new hole for the pin and clock them further down, but the head of the bolt interferes and the pegs themselves would need to be machined more. Currently, they're only chamfered around the bottom.
I had previously bought some cheap Buell XB pegs on ebay. They're supposed to fit with some minor filing based on what I've found searching forums, but the pin diameter on them is larger. I don't have a lathe to make bushings, and didn't want to drill the pin holes on the bike larger.

They look pretty, and do improve leg angles a little bit. But they also push your feet slightly further apart, and transmit a lot more vibration. I hadn't realized how soft and squishy the stock pegs are until I removed them and handled them by hand. Not sure they'll be staying.

I also purchased another RS seat off Yahoo Japan auctions, that just came in. Now I have a second seat to have modified for a taller rider.


Currently I've rigged a cut up kneeling pad and some velcro straps....


Debating sending the seat to Sargent, somewhere else, or using someone local
