IIRC, in the US the 2014 models were the red DLX and the black non ABS model that we call the standard on this board.

Canada may have gotten ‘14 ABS models. Cormanus is the man on different models like CB1100E and so on.

All CB1100 that includes; white-2013 cABS, blue-2014, black-2016 and red-2017 sold in Canada have ABS.
This also includes all RS models and many more Honda motorcycles.
Hope this helps.

Hope this helps. Since there is but one factory repair manual, us amatuer wrenchers must know what we are looking for in said manual. No ABS on my bike but wish I had done more research before my impulse buy of the CB1100 Standard. I've owned 4 BMW cycles and all had ABS (problematic as it was on the earlier models) but my early 90s K75 had ABS. My 2008 Goldwing was so dependable and repair-free but with my medical conditions I couldn't get on it much less ride it. In fact since 2017 I haven't been able to ride anything but I am getting antsy but what happens? A cold front engulfed us recently and I don't venture out unless it is 50+°.
Thanks for the quick assistance. Based on another post on this forum wherein a pic was posted showing the wiring to the optional "Dummy" connectors, it would appear someone cut the connectors off the 4 wire harnesses but labeled the hot wire and the ground wire for us dummies to use to power up when ignition switch is turned on. For the forthcoming project of heated grips I mentioned earlier, I can wire the module direct to the battery as Oxford says that "Battery Saver" button is actually the on/off switch for the grips.
When I get bored, I'm going to trace the wires from the dummy connectors to see where the other 3 wires go, and deduce what happens to a live wire when the switch is turned on. If I knew where to purchase the male 4 pin connector, maybe I could install some wires and cap them off and just wire up the red power and green ground.
