Anyway, on the wiring diagram the connectors at the top on the right and left. The rear one is top right labeled Option-Dummy (dummy is the cap) and WPC 4P ® The R means red. 4P means 4 pins.
The one in the headlight shell is top left under the switchgear labeled Option-Dummy WPC 2P ® 2P means 2 pins.
Ok. Now, for another dilemma. The 2014s were offered as Standard (black only) and DLX (red only). Mine is identified as a CB1100E. If my cycle had ABS, there should be a module somewhere I've never been able to find. My dealer back then said I was buying the first Standard of two he ordered. He special ordered a DLX for another customer who wanted red. He only had the one I bought on display. The other was still crated in his warehouse. Dealer said he had a lot of lookers but I was the only one to make a decent offer (which means I paid too much!)
I'll have to rethink any future electrical add-ons. I have 2 appliances on the spare connector in the headlight bucket already -a radar detector and external speaker for it. When I had a El Cheapo Chinese radio on my bike I had it straight-wired to the battery, as the radio had an on/off switch but it was a piece of junk.
