He's such a classic. The collections of some of his columns "Leanings" and "Leanings 2" are must reads. In fact, I can lay the blame (or credit) on Mr Egan for having 7 or more bikes in my garage at once with full spousal permission. Those days have past, and I'm back down to only four bikes currently, but Mr Egan's magic remains. I suspect much of what he said about how the GB500 looked and felt at the time will be similar to our reflections on the CB1100 in 20 years.
