offroad, I mean the point where you transition from being upright to laying it over for the turn (ie: tipping it over or tipping it in). As you know I tend to run deep to the outside of a turn while reading the turn, before deciding where and how far I'm going to need to lean (tip it over) to make the turn. This can vary depending on the bike you are on (wheelbase, weight, tires etc). I would think you'd notice a difference between your BMW and your CB too. Ride the Beemer down a curvy road, and then ride the CB down the same road, and I'd bet you'd be tipping in too soon on a lot of the turns on the CB, causing you to straighten up and make a correction before tipping in again to complete the turn..
