The CBR650F is in the lineup to bridge the perceived price and performance gap between the CBR500R and the CBR600RR.
With the 650 DOHC 16-valve inline four, it seems like Honda came up with a versatile standard bike at an attractive price. It develops 86 HP at 11,000 rpm and 46 ft-lbs of torque at 8,000 rpm (fairly high in the rev range...this is not an engine to be lugged).
With decent ergos and weighing 454 lbs wet, it might be a fun bike to ride!
